"description": "The Japan Meteorological Agency's Himawari-9 Advanced Himawari Imager at 140.7°E, as NOAA redistributes it on its open data bucket (the ISatSS full-disk product): the 10.4 µm infrared window as brightness temperature, one scan every ten minutes, reprojected from the geostationary view onto a regular 0.04° grid over the useful disk (3000 × 3000 cells, 80.7°E–200.7°E, 60°S–60°N) and published under ir104, as a rolling window rebuilt every ten minutes; and the classic Dust RGB composite (dustrgb: the 12.3 − 10.4 µm split window, 11.2 − 8.6 µm with a gamma, and the 10.4 µm window, stretched to three guns in 0–1 with the SEVIRI recipe of Lensky and Rosenfeld 2008 as EUMeTrain formalised it), computed from the 8.6, 10.4, 11.2 and 12.3 µm windows by the shachen package (Apache-2.0), whose id and version each gun carries as its producer block; and the DEBRA dust confidence (dustcf: the combined confidence factor of Miller et al. 2017, Eqs. 1–22, in 0–1, computed by the same package from the 3.9, 6.2, 8.6, 10.4 and 12.3 µm channels against a clear-sky background modelled from the GFS surface temperature (NOAA NCEP, one record per hour) and the CAMEL emissivity climatology (NASA LP DAAC, CAM5K30EM V003), with a split-window gate; defined over water and over the land an emissivity month is staged for, no data over other land). Source: Japan Meteorological Agency, distributed by NOAA; the data are unaltered but reprojected, composited and scored, and neither JMA nor NOAA endorses this site.",
